Pertamina Ensures BBM Service in Banten is Safe, Post Tsunami Occurrence

Kolom Nasional. PT Pertamina (Persero) ensures that all fuel oil facilities are safe following a tsunami that occurred in the Banten region. This condition was confirmed by Unit Manager Communication & CSR MOR III Dian Hapsari Firasati.

"All BBM storage and distribution facilities are in a safe condition. However, we still carry out thorough checks and supervision," Dian said in Pertamina's official broadcast on Sunday (12/23/2018).

Dian explained that the tsunami disaster did not disrupt fuel distribution activities. To anticipate the existence of obstacles, such as difficulties in reaching access, it has also been calculated.

Pertamina urges the public, especially in areas affected by the tsunami overflow, not to panic about the availability of fuel. Dian claims the supply of BBM will continue to be supplied as usual.

"If indeed there is a blocked path, our team will use other alternative routes. The community does not need to panic, because we still distribute the fuel supply as usual," said Dian.

In total there are six gas stations located along the coast of Anyer and Panimbang. All of the gas station facilities have been ensured in normal conditions and continue to operate to serve the fuel needs of the community.
